Nato in Svizzera nel 1987, Michael Frei è un regista e artista con sede a Zurigo. Ha studiato animazione all'Università di Scienze Applicate e Arti di Lucerna e all'Accademia Estone d'Arte di Tallinn. I suoi film Not About Us e Plug & Play hanno ricevuto numerosi premi in tutto il mondo. Nel 2014 è stato invitato come "Animation Artist in Residence Tokyo". Il suo progetto interattivo Plug & Play è diventato un fenomeno internet. Recentemente ha co-fondato Playables, società di produzione per progetti particolari con sede a Zurigo.
Born in Switzerland in 1987, Micheal Frei is a filmmaker and artist based in Zürich. He studied animation at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and at the Estonian Academy of Art in Tallinn. His films Not About Us and Plug & Play received numerous awards all over the world. He was invited as an Animation Artist in Residence Tokyo in 2014. His interactive project Plug & Play became an internet phenomenon. He recently co-founded Playables, a production company for peculiar projects based in Zürich.
